The Backtrackers camp is located on 150 acres of private land near Axton, Va. - 7 miles east of Martinsville in southwestern Virginia. The main camp itself is situated on a ridge located in the middle of a hardwood forest. There is a large main camp shelter surrounded by plenty of good campsite areas.
The camp complies with local and state regulations. It has an approved source of public drinking water, and has newly-constructed men's and women's bathrooms on the site.
